This, and most stories I’ve read lately on global warming, report on findings but fail to provide the EPA’s reaction. This seems to be letting them off the hook temporarily while they are fighting to be let off the hook permanently.
That the EPA finds itself before the Supreme Court on the issue of global wraming perhaps takes the EPA out of the discussion, but why doesn’t the media include a statement with each report to the effect: The EPA chooses not to comment pending settlement of Massachusetts v EPA currently before the US Supreme Court." – or – “EPA officials could not be reached for comment.”
