In a way, this dry, factual presentation of coming horrors makes them even more scary. Though the article does a great job of covering the basics of the report and possible impacts, there's one it doesn't look at. The quote, "it's the poor sectors that will be most affected" leaves me to wonder how this will impact political and economic systems. When millions of poor people are dying of tropical diseases and famine, I would imagine they'll either try to escape or to grab what they need to survive. The struggle for arable land and for drinkable water could lead to global warfare on a scale we've never seen before on the planet.
