The New Yorker is always a treat. Excellent coverage of the global obesity trend and those on both sides of it. I did not even know that there was a "fat liberation" movement. Excellent use of facts and figures as well as anecdotes and expert opinions.

The New Yorker is one of the highest and few remaining standards for journalism in the country. I have never read an article that they published that was not thoroughly treated

This story deals with the issue of obesity in much more depth than generally seen in our media.

Obesity, the reasons for obesity, the problems it creates, and the ways to decrease it are essential topics for study for those who want to improve the health and decrease the health care costs of our world.
