Though the city has continued to lose population overall, the density of people living downtown is a positive measure of urban vitality, according to this Sun editorial. It's a welcome explanation of another side to Baltimore's changing demographics.

This analysis is shallow and not insightful. It makes no mention of crime rate, quality of life or the inability of Baltimore to retain large corporations headquartered in the city center.

Interesting take on Baltimore's population rate. I think the story would of been more successful with quotes from people living in the downtown district and expert sources.
