Not only are most of the numbers in this article unattributed to any sources, several of them are admittedly speculative, coming with disclaimers like "likely" and "possible." This publication barely conceals its political agenda, and this article gives them the appearance of gladly cooking the stats to support their agenda.

This article uses an average wage based on over &100,000. The following paragraph states average wage from Madison $74,912. In the list at the bottom of the page average pay is from $47,179 to $55,656. The uses of numbers are so different that this story becomes a concern.

This is pure propaganda, rife with inaccuracies, unsubstantiated sources, unattributed quotes, conditional language, and cop-outs. These shortcomings aren't surprising, as the MacIver Institute is a secretive right-wing organization founded in 2009 by discredited Wisconsin politico Scott Jensen. (see links)

As evidence mounts from journalists' investigations and a more detailed read of the Governor's proposal, the Wisconsin budget is not his concern. If it were, he would accept the union's offer to meet his cuts. He's holding out for nothing short of destroying collective bargaining, destroying health care, and assuming unchecked power.
