My guess is we will find more insightful, in-depth commentary from Al-Jazeera or other media w/ closer ties to the region. However, Kristof's blog was the first place I came across the news, so I had to pass it along.

Gutsy. This may still be e-/de-volving. One demand, that the king may reighn, but not rule, leaves an avenue for change-over. I wouldn't bet on it though -- the king and his family/tribe are Sunis, a minority in contoll. Good reporting.
