The reporters should have asked why the large-scale "vote fraud" that took place in 2004, when Hamid Karzai was first elected, was not a problem, if the same thing in the 2009 election was a problem.

I listened to Galbraith pitch his plan for the dismemberment of Iraq a number of years ago, and I thought he had a lot of personal appeal even if the idea was bonkers.
