The "fantastic job" Newsweek's Richard Wolffe claims he is doing

At the National Press Club last night, White House spokesman Tony Snow sat down for a chat with what appeared to be some of his best friends -- our nation's elite "journalists" assigned to the White House -- and they all sat around amicably bemoaning how terribly unfair the criticism is that is directed at them by blogs (h/t Atrios). This blog post, seething with outrage, mocks Richard Wolffe's claim that he is doing a fantastic job by reprinting several of Wolffe's articles that pass on without question inaccurate information fed to him by government sources. The criticism is well documented -- over and over again. Mr. Wolffe is a prime example ... he not only loves his own substanceless prose, but seems to adore the sound of his own voice, as well, as often as we see him waxing neo-political on MSNBC.
