US 'Iran attack plans' revealed

US contingency plans for air strikes on Iran extend beyond nuclear sites and include most of the country's military infrastructure, the BBC has learned.

It is understood that any such attack - if ordered - would target Iranian air bases, naval bases, missile facilities and command-and-control centres. Full Story »

Source is anonymous. Has all the hallmarks of an official leak. The context summarizes most of the pressure that has been put on Iran.

I'm surprised at the BBC for putting out this shoddy piece. I watch their nightly broadcast and have found them a much more reliable source that U.S. media. But this is pure conjecture--without the honesty to call it such. They could be right. But without any background or sources, it's hard for a reader to evaluate the accuracy.

This is a great example of bad journalism, on par with the stories from last week about how Iran is arming Iraq. The sourcing is sub-standard. They source their own journalists, and no one else by name.

No. Fails to provide a reliable source. Just more military "propaganda. Also, what response could be predicted from Iran.
