This blog post has no journalistic merit. The author interviews someone who has strong opinions and does not challenge a single one of them. Most (probably >95%) economists would dispute almost every statement in the piece. The person being interviewed even puts in a comment about the tea partries that shows his ignorance on the subject, and the fact that the author did not question him on this shows how ignorant the author is about basic journalistic practices.
