What makes this heart warming story so real and newsworthy is the wonderful slide show. The pictures bring the quotes to life and quotes show how important those moments captured by the camera truly were. This audio and visual slide show is one of the best I've seen. It was as if I was standing in the room watching this step team perform.

This is a well produced audio slide show that tells a story and captures the voice of a community as they cultivate an art. The photos capture emotion and the audio generates personality and impact. A voice is truly given to the subjects of the photos. The combination of the two is incredibly effective. This is showcasing a non-profit dance company, so it is understandable that there is not another "side" to the story because the focus is on capturing the essence of the "H Street Tour." Still, the message is clear and positive. Audio is especially effective because it gives the viewer an idea of how these images sound. I like this slide show podcast because it focuses on the students in Africa and how this non profit organization is helping this community out, giving them something to do, something that they all will have fun doing and will help them stay active. The photography focuses on the kids and the mission of being involved with the community. They show a lot of photos of shoes and the peoples feet so we can feel, see, and hear what they are doing in those communities. They can go dance and ... More »

The audio slideshow for the story Stepping Up worked well because the pictures captured the energy of stepping. It showed the dance steps and the reaction on people’s faces. The pictures showed the smiling face of the children and the elderly. The audio used was very appropriate and engaged the listener by allowing the rhythm and beat of the performance to be heard. The interviews of the company manager, company director and company performer shared their different perspectives but also the common mission of the company.

This slide show provides clear and relevant audio to each image. The integration of sounds and images brings the slide show to life and helps the audience to achieve the feeling and atmosphere behind each photo. I was able to feel like I was in the room. Also by matching audio with a profile picture of each person, the audience was able to get a better understanding of each person.
