Making Martial Law Easier

A disturbing recent phenomenon in Washington is that laws that strike to the heart of American democracy have been passed in the dead of night. This editorial raises an important topic, however, by nature it has no real depth to allow the reader to do anything more than reach a snap judgment on the matter. Regardless, the New York Times editorial staff is doing its job in bringing this to our attention.
