I watched the aftermath of the 2004 election, keeping up to date on many of the reported incidents of voter fraud. This article covered the ones I heard about, and many additional ones. For better balance, the author could have put in more effort to seek out other points of view, or interview those on the other side of the controversy.

Though I'm still on the fence about some of the author's claims, I am impressed with the level of detail which he provides to back up his assertions with evidence or supporting documentation. If every opinion piece came with as much background information, our public discourse would be much improved.

A thorough summary of evidence of vote fraud in Ohio, but entirely one-sided. This may the only way to breath life into an 18-month-old issue, but not mentioning alternative explanations means that those who disagree have little incentive to respond. I fear that many (including the MSM) will dismiss this as old news, a rehash of arguments that have already been proven wrong.

Well organized discussion of many sources that belie the Rupublican assertion that voting errors were balanced and would not affect the outcome.

Using clear words, a neutral tone, balanced argument, and exceptionally thorough sources, this article exposes the terrible state of our electoral process, as exemplified by the 2004 election results. Placing the entire story within the larger context of the American political system makes it obvious that the hallmark of democracy -- an honest and fair election process -- is in great danger of being lost in the United States.

This is more research report than journalistic report--Kennedy has done little "reporting" himself--but the thorough documentation of what appears to be reputable sources makes a convincing case for the truthfulness of the report. What most impresses me is the quality of the sources cited: no DailyKos, truthout, or MoveOn.org shills here. Kennedy seems to have done a great job bringing together disparate reports to create a compelling "big picture" representation.

I have heard all this liberial stuff before. As I understand it most of these problems were in democratic control voting precients. If any of this stuff is correct one might think the the republicans have at last learned from the democrats how to run an election. Hope they keep it up paul harrington paulj1938@yahoo.com

Mr. Kennedy makes a great case that the 2004 election was rigged in favor of Bush siting numerous sources from all sides of the spectrum and fitting all of the pieces of the puzzle together in one nice package.

Kennedy does a remarkable job researching, sourcing and reporting the story, pulling together a tale of deception, theft and deceit that runs all the way to the White House. Bits and pieces of this story have been reported elsewhere, but Kennedy's take takes a lot of loose strings and weaves them together into a coherent -- and frightening -- account of what really happened in Nov. 2004.

I found this story very disturbing. Perhaps because I live overseas, I was not aware of the huge problems created by the 2004 elections. I can't believe - if this story is even 50% true - that more has not been done.
