Folks at the Marijuana Policy Project say yes -- and they've launched a statewide ad campaign today to reach Gov.Arnold Schwarzenegger and lawmakers in California as they wrestle this week over the yawning $26 billion-plus deficit. Video of the ad is embedded and site linked to, but slapping the Q&A at the end is sloppy. Little context about the War on Drugs, or the CA budget crisis.

I'm not a fan of the stuff myself, but I'm all for legalizing and taxing it.
