Extremist Bush supporter calls for murder of scientists

We are not even at war with Iran. Congress has not declared war or authorized military force against that country. Yet Reynolds thinks that the Bush administration, unilaterally, should send people to murder Iranian scientists and religious leaders -- just pick out whichever ones we don't like and slaughter them. Gives the impression that American leaders decided long ago that government-sanctioned assassination was forbidden, and has never happened. No discussion of Pat Robertson, Ngo Dinh Diem, or CIA assassination manuals, for example. Does quote several sources, though.

It doesn't sound like it is intended to be journalism, but an op-ed piece. There has been some discussion about this subject, but the alternative sides are not represented. I tend to agree with the writer, but he is not trying to be 'fair and balanced'.

Your discussion of current problems that I watched recently on CSpan was the clearest explanation of current problems that I have heard from any source.

You did, I believe, understate the economic problems of millions of American families for the simple reason that the rate of inflation has been much greater than stated. The consumer price index has been revised in such a manner that it has little to nothing to do with prices. I would state with certainty the old consumer price index that you used in the 70's also understated inflation. A research tem could easily prove this but it requires an enormous amount of work to do so.
