What a lost opportunity. Sawyer did a terrible job of interviewing. We see a lot of this in-your-face journalistic style these days. Where was the normal courtesy when you meet the head of a state? She did not even greet him or thank him for the opportunity. Bang! Staight to the hard question - no skill in drawing him out to reveal his thinking. He defended himself by wriggling - anyone would. Where was the skill in pinning him on evasive answers? There was none. This journalist showed no credibility or skill - the interview was a waste of time - and I suspect has only hardened the views of any who are opposed to the USA. Will someone please train western journalists in good manners and the psychology of human nature? Perhaps then we can glimpse more of the truth underlying complex global issues.
