The article contrasts media coverage of the Enron trial to trials of Scott Peterson, Michael Jackson, and Martha Stewart, noting the relative importance of the Enron situation. It's good to have this story in circulation, provoking wonderment about how this extreme level of corruption is nourished in our civilization, and discussion about what, if anything, should really be done to make permanent changes for the better. This is journalism with encourages thought and discussion of significantly important questions, and does so by covering important, not trivial, matters for attention.
