This is an article of quality covering the gambit of the problem in Switzerland over the public vote. This article is times ahead of the New York Times article that is linked hereto.

It appears that the Swiss have voted an unconstitutional law in effect in violation of many international treaties and agreements. This invites terrorism in retaliation for a direct strike at Islam, lets hope that the officers of the Swiss Government act very quickly to calm what could be a fire storm - not yet lit.

The Council of Europe said on Monday the ban raised concern over whether fundamental rights, protected by international treaties, should be the subject of popular votes. More »
