The new Medicare prescription-drug program has reduced consumer drug prices and premiums by an estimated $13 billion and is projected to expand those savings to an impressive $180 billion during the next 10 years.

More than 90 percent of American seniors are enrolled and average $1,100 per year in savings. An overwhelming majority -- 80 percent -- like the program, according to several opinion surveys.

This is interesting as it's the opposite of what I've heard about people's satisfaction with this program. But then I scrolled down & saw who the writer represents.

Note that NewsTrust has cited the wrong name for the author of the piece. Correct namne is Berk, not Beck. Ms. Berk represents a "free market advocacy group" funded by the pharmaceutical industry. The article is full of fake statictics and false arguments. Nothing but propaganda. Not journalism. Fake "news"
