I read it, and am not sure what it said. It sounds like a Canadian "liberal" is endorsing the worst environmental disaster in Canada's history.

Tar sands mining is an environmental disaster, and should stop. Think conservation, wind, solar.

That may change in the fall, or whenever an election campaign beckons. It’s entirely possible that the Liberals’ platform will address climate change in a way that balances economic and environmental interests, presumably through some form of cap-and-trade plan.

Cap and trade can be a dangerous farce.
