If it is to be judged on reporting the exchange between Schumer and Grassley, yes it is quality journalism. However, I think it would have helped to explain their positions more in depth. It was only reporting their comments and nothing more

The article should have gone more in depth. Certainly the opinions of various Americans could have been quoted.
