Washington Post cancels lobbyist event amid uproar

For $25,000 to $250,000, The Washington Post has offered lobbyists and association executives off-the-record, nonconfrontational access to "those powerful few": Obama administration officials, members of Congress, and — at first — even the paper’s own reporters and editors.

A true tip of an iceberg. A New "Gate" event!!

Is this a WOPO-Gate? That there was a brochure on this is outstanding, that it was not vetted. How in the world did the person(s) responsible ever conjure up such an idea. The fall out on this is going to be the huge story of the what the year? The Washington Post is a fantastic paper. That Politico published this shows the depth and correctness that they go to to cover all of Washington.
