It's a well sourced analysis article that fairly deconstructs CEI's ads messages. It shows the way CEI construct their defense step by step, as the lacks or misrepresentations of their previous statements are disclosed. They try to change the place of the incriminated with the one of the incriminator, by a seemingly honest data confrontation. They may try to play "Devil's Advocate" with that "both sides of the story" strategy and by defending "our way of life." They may aim to mislead, divide opinions, which makes common action more difficult, and to lure people's comfortable feeling of "Well, if it isn't that bad, there's no need to act and to completely change our way of life."
