No way to trust this story. Even though the author is the managing editor of a trade magazine -- we'd hope a disinterested authority on all things supermarket -- she provides no links and no independent verification of Wal-Mart's health care initiatives. It isn't the reader's job to look these things up. It appears to me that Ms. Veiders is singing Wal-Mart's praise, even if the information she offers is correct. Not informative, not in-depth, not well sourced, not contextualized.

It also unfairly praises the company's 'leadership role' and only cites a single source to back up this entire story: Wal-Mart itself!
