LA Times holds MSNBC's feet to the fire for its lack of Iran coverage over the weekend. The author is critical, but sought comment from more than one person at the network.

But given the intensity of the reaction elsewhere, MSNBC’s decision over the weekend struck many as puzzling.

This type of transition always bothers me. It’s lazy and it’s inexact. “Many” who? I doubt that the LA Times has a representative sample here. More like “many of the people interviewed” or “several media critics.”
