This is just rhe latest of the marketing complaints, but as Exodus tells us "there is nothing new under the sun". Only time will tell whether this ad group is effective. If it is look for more, if not look for it to disappear into the void. The fact that these ads even warrented an editorial response says they are attention getting.

The reason we are inundated with fluff is that other ways of selling have been tried and this one works best. Sex ads are likely to backfire when they cross the line, but you don't know where the line is untill you cross it. When Calvin Klien was using Brooke Shields (nothing gets between me and my calvins) one of there competitors shot back with " We make pants, for men who make babies" and crossed the line, this was the same week that Calvert's " He gets it downtown, why not ... Some of the ad copy: "Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled with the NEW BK SUPER SEVEN INCHER." This is pathetic on so many levels.
