This article reveals what most voters sensed in McCain--an ossified mentality that would make him incapable of moving forward.

A brief synopsis of McCain's stance on "don't ask don't tell" with links that illustrate the political expediency that have characterized McCain on the issue, without examining the many other issues where the "strait talk express' took a right turn 180 degrees.

In my view McCain has consigned himself to the annals of historical farce. A true maverick should never have his finger to the wind.
