The article is a rather short note which does not give many details. I would be happier with more information, also about the response of the public in the U.S. and Europe.

It does not seem that the public in Western democracies takes the side with protesters abroad easily, so journalists should engage in elucidating the political situation of the protesters and the background of their cause. Obviously, in Iran there is a lot of mistrust concerning an alleged "democracy" which suddenly erupted when unbelievable results were given for the election.
