Straight forward journalism about the unrest in Iran. McCain and others like him who recommend America take the side of the protestors need to remember their history. In 1953 we meddled in Iran and destroyed their young democracy. In 1979, ignoring warnings from the new Iranian government, we gave asylum to the deposed Shah and ended up with an embassy hostage crisis. Both incidents still fondly remembered by the Iranians.
