Why Can't Americans See What's Coming?

The American public and the US Congress are getting their backs up about the Bush Regime's determination to escalate the war in Iraq. A Massive protest demonstration is occurring in Washington DC today, and Congress is expressing its disagreement with Bush's decision to intensify the war in Iraq.

This piece puts a few more pieces of the puzzle together. We are offered a couple more voices from outside the US and its captive media warning us of the likelihood of war against Iran. There is a relatively uncontroversial recounting of the Administration's position that such an action would be legal which the author believes runs counter to the public's feelings and understanding. It is a thoughtful piece and asks an important question.

I realize the importance of this article, so this observation may be seen as nit picking - the Bush Regime is what I call this administration, as a member of the left. It seems this is an unnecessarily negative way of presenting the author's opiinion. Or perhaps time has come to take our gloves off?
