The report from the international climate talks calling for action to prevent a world catastrophe has gathered little press attention in the big corporate media.

Foot dragging by rich corporate interests focused upon short term profits are imperiling the planet.

The machinery of the talks is working but a lack of political will from industrialised countries has blocked progress and undermined poor country confidence in the negotiations – only a political commitment for ambitious action at the highest level can save the talks
