Juan Cole is always well worth reading regarding events in the Middle East. The election results may have been rigged, but US policy toward Iran need not be seriously affected.

Iranian nuclear power generation for electicity will happen whether Israel likes it or not. The issue may still be one of whether Iran controls the entire fuel cycle, or allows a thrid party to control it. Israel must be told, and told again, and again, not to attack Iran.
