The article identifies holdings and income that create the impression of a conflict of interests. It fails to identify any actions or votes that parallel those apparent conflicts of interest. It seems to dedicate more ink toward painting dems than repubs, but gets stains onto both.

Publicly financed elections could reduce such conflicts of interest. Congress is rich good old boys.
