This is a relatively new Iranian source, and this piece bodes well for the quality of the stories to be published. While not particularly factual, and it might be a little glassy-eyed, but it's a unique portrait of this ancient town.
a fascinating look inside a city relatively unknown to us. some history of the city and a description of it's political divides against the background of the current election. while there are no sources, it reads as if the writer knows well this description. this story brings to life modern iraq and changes in the making
