Even handed with both sides,

When you CHOSE to enter politics and walk onto the national stage, you better develope a thick skin or get the hell out. Letterman is a comedian, and these will not be the last, nor were they the first of his questionalbe jokes but what he does is entertainment. Palin is an elected official whose actions affect the lives of thousands of people ( Governor of Alaska affects fewwe people than the mayors of most major cities,). By chosing to place herself in the limelight from her appearance in pagents, that emphasize appearance over brains to televison to politics, she has placed herself in a position of ridicule and examination. She is not some hockey mom with greatness thrust on her, she is an egotist that has sought the limelight and objects when it shows her warts,
