Wow! This story is very heavy on imprecise analogies with American politics, yet it laid out some basics of the Iranian political scene that had previously eluded me. I wouldn't, on the basis of this article, pretend to understand very much, yet after reading it I have at least progressed beyond my black hole of total ignorance.
