At 11 pages, it is a bit long. The story provides a lot of information on atrocities within the private prison system, and chronicles the efforts of a former abused prisoner to take down the Bush nomination of Puryear who was tied to CCA.

Citizen activism can accomplish much. Prisons should be public, not private.
