Interesting comments. US rapprochement with Iran would not be difficult to achieve, were it not for the Israel lobby (though this piece skips over this part of the equation).

Obama should reopend the US embassy in Tehran and allow Iran to reopen its embassy in Washington. Normal relations between the US and Iran is in the best interests of the entire Middle East.
