Good piece. Perhaps the article should have mentioned that all leaders of the various Christian churches in Syria want a change of US policy in the Middle East, to force an end to the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights and the West Bank.

Obama should endorse the Arab League peace plan openly, and withdraw all US forces from Iraq asap.
