Using New Language, President Shows Understanding for Both Sides in Middle East

There was no mention of "terrorists" or "terrorism," just "violent extremists." There was the suggestion that Israeli settlements are illegitimate and the assertion that the Palestinians "have suffered in pursuit of a homeland." focusing somewhat narrowly on the content of pres. obama's speech, the article includes interesting information to include how he and speech-writers/advisors prepared for the speech. the style here doesn't give a broad flavor of the speech, particularly of the content to the muslim world in general, but it does give some responses from israelis and palestinians
