..There are few new arguments to be made behind closed doors. By now, the Senate’s 62 members have heard from every interest group. They know the polls and the politics. They know that New York is lagging behind others — including New Hampshire, where Gov. The NY Senate is not doing its duty to the people of New York by sitting on the Gay legislation that the Assembly sent to it! As stated (more than) enough time has passed for the Senators to have received comment from their people. Is it wear to stand up and be counted- legislation is not easy- thats why they are there to act; not to NOT act.
