I was considered a cynical 30-something because I thought that Reagan era policies could be described as "I've got mine, screw you." Robert Parry's article is so much better than anything I could have written. It's good to see that I'm not the only one who places a large part of the blame for the current mess on the Reagan administration. He was so good at making people feel good while picking their pockets.
