Weak story, that assumes "supporters" of Israel are correct when they argue Obama would be hurting Israel by demanding a stop to the growth of the illegal settlements in the West Bank. The article promotes a fallacious "balance" that Obama must pursue. Par for the Washington Post, of course.

Obama should tell Netanyahu Israel will need to end the occupation of the West Bank and the Golan Heights, or expect future complications that may well endanger the survival of Israel as a Jewish state. Fanatical US "supporters" of Israel are in fact putting its long-term stability needlessly at risk, by preventing a solution to the Israel/Palestine problem.
