When President Obama delivers his speech to the "Muslim world" in Cairo he will once again differentiate his foreign policy from that of his predecessor. The president is smart to use his own popularity to try to improve America's image in the region. However, to prevail comprehensively over terrorists, we must realize the limits of this strategy. Whiton's claim to fame is assisting in the most disasterous foreign policy era in the history of the nation. His collective view of all muslims as the enemy, and the only solution is beating the crap out of them militarily is so primitive and lacking in insight that the only benefit of the article is getting a view into the limited mindset of the former republican administration.
