Whiton's claim to fame is assisting in the most disasterous foreign policy era in the history of the nation. His collective view of all muslims as the enemy, and the only solution is beating the crap out of them militarily is so primitive and lacking in insight that the only benefit of the article is getting a view into the limited mindset of the former republican administration.

The author refers to: "the 2008 victory in Iraq...". I thought the jury was still out on that, or maybe we have declared victory and I missed it.
