Obama: U.S. Needs To Be 'Honest' With Israel

President Obama, just days before traveling to the Middle East to deliver a key speech on U.S.-Muslim relations, on Monday reasserted U.S. support for Israel. The questions for this interview were relevant. Whether one likes the answers or not is irrelevant. This was a solid interview with good questions.

The answers revealed that President Obama is not opting for the politically safe path and continues to lead with reason - irrespective of decades of political patronage surrounding this issue - which for the most part - has fueled the controversy. American special interest groups will have to elevate their commentary in the future or face obsolescence if they are simply willing to sing the same old song.
