this piece, compared to the one from time magazine focuses on the settlements and doesn't mention president obama's speech in cairo, nor other factors, and barriers to a peace initiative. the investigations arising from the israeli offensive against gaza is also mentioned.

these articles while not in depth, taken together and with others, demonstrate the complexity of the problemsbarriers facing the world on the issue of the relationship between israel and palestine and any real ability to create agreements between them
