It certainly has a lot of detail--listing all 220 of the proposed park closures. What would have given it a lot more depth and qualified it as investigative reporting, would be to give visitor figures for the parks listed. Frankly, I've lived in California for 57 years and have never heard of a good third of these. And some I have heard of, and even visited, would have an impact locally if closed, but probably little impact on the state economy. A breakdown of those figures would have made this piece really valuable in this increasingly contentious debate.
