Breaking news report about California Gov. Schwazenegger's proposed plan to close 50 parks and beaches in the San Francisco Bay Area. This short article seems factual, but the evidence is largely from a single source, the spokesman for California State Parks. Could use more independent voices, to confirm this information. Overall, this is an informative report on an important issue for Bay Area residents.

I can't believe I'm hearing this. Seems like a misguided idea, which would be a blow to the local economy, and could end up costing more than it saves.
