It uses personal examples to illustrate one more major problem in immigration law and bureaucracy which no one is able to resolve - though resolution should be fairly simple legislatively and bureaucratically.

It is a tragedy waiting to happen to thousands of people and no one wants to do anything but make it a political ping pong ball!

This is a great article, because it not only explains the DREAM Act, but also the unintended consequences of excluding documented immigrants in that bill. This is a part of immigration reform that no one else has covered.
